7th Annual Liga MAC JazzFest “Music Under the Stars”
Picture a starry night on the beach in San Jose del Cabo. Then picture Liga MAC’s 7th Annual JazzFest presented by Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant on the beach on Friday, March 18, 2011. Even Van Gogh could not paint a prettier scene than the one that will take place at the Club Campestre San Jose Beach Club.
This year’s new format dubbed “Music Under the Stars” will feature the Todd Clouser Trio during cocktails, Daline Jones, Diego Ramirez & Luciano Callado during dinner, and Pete Escovedo and the Latin Jazz Orchestra headlining the show. From the grand entrance of Club Campestre, to the moon shimmering on the sea, to world class jazz, and a sumptuous buffet dinner all will be picture perfect for Liga MAC JazzFest 2011.
While entertainment and food are the perks of attending, the event’s real purpose is to raise funds to benefit Liga MAC’s ongoing programs. So, the evening would not be complete without a live auction of a few select items. All proceeds from the evening’s events will support Liga MAC’s programs which offer medical aid and basic needs, as well as educational assistance to low income families in San Jose del Cabo. Last year Liga MAC’s programs helped over 1600 local families and kept 450 children in school. The 7th Annual Liga MAC JazzFest continues the tradition of offering a fabulous evening of entertainment to benefit local families.
